David S. Chang ChFC® is an award-winning entrepreneur, wealth manager, keynote speaker, author, consultant, and Chairman and CEO of Chang Holding Company. He founded Chang Holding Company in 2010 with its headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii and offices in California. Chang Holding is currently comprised of WealthBridge Inc. and Home Care Solutions LLC. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from the American College.
David is also the editor of The Art of Thinking SMART, a blog and previously had a finance column in The Star-Advertiser’s weekly Midweek with a readership of over 400,000 people. He has also developed the 4-Step System to Wealth and Financial Freedom with The Art of SMART Money, a Wealth Building Membership Program.
In 2015 David was chosen as a member of InvestmentNews’ 2015 40 Under 40 list of top young advisers and associated professionals in the financial planning industry. He has been featured in Forbes as one of America’s Select Financial Leaders. In 2013 David was selected as Top 40 Under 40 Military by CivilianJobs.com. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Computer Science and holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Business. David also holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawaii and a Master of Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. In addition, hewas selected as an East-West Graduate Degree Fellow and earned a Certificate of Leadership from the East-West Center.
David holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from The American College of Financial Planning based out of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. David is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. He was selected as the best opportunity growth pitch in the cohort. He holds a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Babson College. He is an alumni of the American Council of Young Political Leaders, the New Generation Seminar with the East-West Center, and member of the Young Entrepreneur's Council and Founder's Club. He is a guest lecturer at universities.
David was commissioned and served in the U.S. Army as an active duty Armor and Military Intelligence Officer. He is a veteran of the Global War on Terror and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served with the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment as a Platoon Leader; the 2nd Battalion, 11th Field Artillery Regiment; 3rd Battalion, 25th General Support Aviation Regiment as the primary Intelligence Officer (S2); and the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division as the Deputy Intelligence Officer (S2). After leaving active duty, he joined the Hawaii Army National Guard. He has held a position as the Commander of the Military Intelligence Company of B company, 29th Brigade Special Troops Battalion; primary Intelligence Officer for the 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and Vice Chief of Staff of Intelligence (G2) for the Hawaii Army National Guard.
He currently serves in the California Army National Guard as the Deputy Commander for the 250th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion and holds the rank of Major. His military education includes the Armor Officer Basic Course, Military Intelligence Tactician’s Course, the Army Counter-Insurgency Course, the Military Intelligence Career Course, and the Command and General Staff Officer Course.
David is the Past Chairman of the Hawaii Republican Party and Republican National Committee. He was elected Chairman in 2011 and 2013. At the time he was the youngest in the country and the first Korean-American ever elected. He was a super-delegate for the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida. He was selected by Campaigns & Elections Magazine as Hawaii’s Top 10 Influencers of the 2012 Elections.
David has served on numerous boards and advisory committees. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Past Chair of the steering committee for the Young Professionals program of The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, and have served in various church and non-profit leadership positions. David is an accomplished musician, leading numerous church music teams playing the guitar, trumpet, piano, and lead vocals.
For over 30 years he served as Owner and President of National Cycle Accessories, a motorcycle and ATV parts, accessories, and service company based out of Sacramento, California. For years Peter was awarded the service and maintenance contract for the California Highway Police Motorcycle Division in Sacramento.
Peter was also the Owner and President of Lucy's Lavanderia, a laundry service company based in Southern California. He previously worked at Hahn Cycle, one of the first Korean-American motorcycle parts and accessories distributorships in the country.
He is originally from Seoul, South Korea and speaks fluent Korean and helps manage Chang Holding Operations in Korea and China. He is an expert in EB5 financing, green energy technologies, and the import/export wholesale and retail business.
He attended the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), majoring in economics. He served in Republic of Korea (ROK) Army as a Korean Augmentation To the United States Army (KATUSA) with the 8th Army based out of Seoul, South Korea.
He is married to Debra D. Chang and is the father of David S. Chang, and Esther Chang Blair, who is a Graduate and Undergraduate Academy Advisor at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
Donna Williams is the Administrative Coordinator for WealthBridge Inc. and Chang Holding Company.
She has extensive experience in managing business operations. She is co-founder of Gemini Lawn and Landscaping, which she helped grow into a multi-state, landscaping design and maintenance corporation in Michigan. She was responsible for all internal functions and contributed to its successful expansion and growth.
After her tenure with Gemini, she left to pursue a degree in Business and Film at Columbia College-Chicago with a concentration in Music Supervision. At this time she founded her own company, Celadon Productions, a video editing and short film production business. Donna’s poetry has been published, recorded, and released on RAW: Recorded Art Words in Chicago. She has worked with musicians across the Chicagoland area in production, promotion, and publishing.
She is highly motivated and excited to meet and work with new people and help meet their needs.
Michael North is a Wealth Management Associate with WealthBridge Inc.
He is a founding member of Pacific Royalties, an investment group founded in partnership with Arthur Lipper, that develops financing vehicles using corporate revenue royalties. He is also an executive at Asia-Pacific Network, which builds trade and investment between America and China, Japan, and Korea.
He is a co-founder of Greenstar, a green energy and media company that installs solar-powered community centers in remote villages in the developing world. He was the original founder and CEO of North Communications, a public access network company that pioneered the use of touchscreens for banks, retailers and government agencies worldwide. He resides near Honolulu, and serves as a strategic business development advisor for growing businesses.
She has over 12 years of experience in the Home Care Industry. Born and raised in Hawaii, Lisa is passionate about home care and helping her clients to remain in the comfort of their homes. As a CNA, Lisa ran her own home care business and prided herself in making sure that each of her clients were treated like family. Lisa’s compassion for her clients ensured that they received the best care possible.
In 2004 Lisa returned to school to obtain her Bachelors in Science, Nursing, and graduated with honors from Hawaii Pacific University. After graduating, Lisa worked as an RN with MasterCare, where she was able to work with medically fragile pediatric patients, before coming on board as Home Care Solutions and Nurses Just for Kid’s Director of Nursing. Lisa’s experiences also includes caring for clients with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Since 2009, Lisa has served at First Assembly of God as the regional youth leader. She also serves on the worship team and with adopt a highway. Her passions also include short-term missions and spending time with her family.
